Midyear Meeting Provides Resources
to Protect Members' Businesses and Save Money
AGC members from across the country gathered from September
29 - October 1 in San Francisco for AGC's Midyear Meeting,
which addressed legislative issues, regulatory items, pending
environmental regulations, the future of the nation's surface
transportation infrastructure and a vulnerable California
levee system.
AGC also unveiled the Contractors' Guide to BIM and released
the third Construction Inflation Alert at the economic session
with AGC Chief Economist Ken Simonson.
Members focused on association business and reviewed the
upcoming strategic plan, approved the 2007 AGC National Officers
and took advantage of valuable networking opportunities.
AGC's Political Action Committee raised more than $65,000
in PAC funds and approved $120,000 in contributions to support
pro-construction candidates.
