AGC’s 89th Annual Convention took place March 9-13 in Las Vegas, Nev. Thousands of construction professionals took advantage of this yearly event to network with colleagues, congratulate award winners and learn the new trends and best practices for the industry.

Chapter of the Year Awards

Georgia Branch, AGC, won the 2007 Large Chapter of the Year Award for significantly increasing its personal contact with members and focusing on “enhancing the members’ experience.” These efforts resulted in the highest level of member participation in the chapter’s 80-year history and the highest number of new members recruited in a decade.

The New Mexico Building Branch was awarded the 2007 Small Chapter of the Year Award for its state and local legislative initiatives, workforce development programs and emphasis on safety, most notably through its partnership with New Mexico OSHA.
